I've finally meandered my way over to the oasis of text-based roleplayers. I have wandered in, dusty and battered by the road, and have absolutely no idea of how to navigate this site. So this serves as a "looking for roleplay" post in and of itself.

My fandoms:
Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader (and its attendant setting, but mostly for this game)
Shadowrun: Hong Kong (and its attendant setting, but mostly for this game)
The Legend of Drizzt
Star Trek

Various OCs are adaptability to most science fiction or fantasy settings.

Hi! AS promised, I'm here with some recs for you. Unfortunately not much is directly connected to RP, but it can help you start finding your way around.

First, if you look at the navbar at the top, underneath your own icon you'll see a search box with a dropdown to select 'interest,' 'region' and other options. Keep it on 'interest' and type 'roleplaying' in there and you'll be taken to a page displaying users and communities who have 'roleplaying' as one of their interests. You can filter to users only, communities only, etc. These will be displayed by most recent activity.

Friend-finding comms:
addme - the main one, for all sorts of people with all sorts of interests
addme_fandom - all sorts of fandoms, all sorts of fandom activities - but this can include RP
add_a_writer - this can also include RP. It's been a bit quiet the last few months, but historically it's pretty active
